Enock is 13 years old and in 7th grade. He lives in a rural community in the Brong Ahafo region of Ghana. Many people in the community are not formally educated and struggle to earn sustainable income. It is not uncommon for students education to be disrupted due to financial instability. If student's parents aren't able to pay their school fees, students are sent home and their progress is delayed.
Enock is a quiet, but funny student who enjoys learning English and playing football (soccer). He also enjoys the I-C-T laboratory at school. He live with his mother and father who earn income through a small scale poultry farm. The poultry business isn't stable in Ghana, so neither is their income. His father is not healthy, so the burden of providing for the family falls on his mother alone. They have four children, including Enock and it isn't easy to provide for their family.
Enock needs $172 to go to school for a year. His father's illness affects his mother's ability to provide for her family. She is working hard, but needs our help. Donate toward Enock's education today!
