Together with 5 donors we made sure Ernest's school cost was paid for the 2013-2014 academic school year! Now we are fundraising for his 2014-2015 academic year.

Ernest is 9 years old and in the 5th grade. He lives in the rural town of Dormaa-Ahenkro with his three siblings, mother and father. Many people in the community are not formally educated and struggle to earn sustainable income. It is not uncommon for students education to be disrupted due to financial instability. If student's parents aren't able to pay their school fees, students are sent home and their progress is delayed.

Ernest is driven, smart and energetic. His favorite subject is school is mathematics. His father passed away, so the burden of providing for the family falls on his mother alone. His father is a laborer in the local hospital and his mother farms in order to support a large family. With so many mouths to feed, Ernest's parents find it difficult to pull together additional funds to support their children's education.

Your support of just $123 will allow Ernest to go to school for a year. Donate toward Ernest's education today!
