Clement is currently in Grade 5 at Sabwill Educational Complex

Clement (2)

Age: 12

School: Sabwill

Clement is a 12 year old 5th grader in a rural village of the Brong Ahafo region of mid-western Ghana. Of all the primary school-age children of the world about half of them live in Sub-Saharan African countries like Ghana. One in six students living in this region of the world leave school before the 2nd grade.

Clement is an energetic student who likes reading and playing football (soccer). His favorite subject is integrated science, and he would like to be a medical doctor when he grows up. He lives with his mother and father and three siblings. His parents are peasant farmers, and their profit is not enough to provide for the family. Peasant farmers cultivate crops and sometimes animals on a very small scale. It is not uncommon for people in Ghana to feed their families with crops grown on a small plot of land, but selling their harvests does not provide sustainable income.

Clement's family is struggling to provide an education for their son. Together we can guarantee a year of education for this energetic student. Even a donation of just $5 would make a difference in improving Clement's future!
