Age: 12

School: Sabwill

Together with a caring donor we made sure Enick's school fee was paid for the 2014-2015 academic school year! Now we are fundraising for Enick's 2015-2016 academic year

Enick is 12 years old and in Junior High School in a rural village of the Brong Ahafo region in mid-western Ghana. Primary school-age children that live in Sub-Saharan African countries like Ghana make up about half of all primary school-age children not attending school in the world. Many of the people in Enick's village are peasant farmers, earning a very meager income. Enick is an energetic student who dreams about being a pilot. He likes his religious and moral education class and playing football (soccer). He admires Asamoah Gyan (a very famous, professional Ghanaian footballer). He is cared for by a guardian who took him in when his grandfather died. His grandfather was caring for him because his father has abandoned him and his mother was young and didn't take responsibility for him. His current guardian is responsible for 3 children including Enick and she finds it difficult to provide with her meager profit from farming. Enick has lost many people in his short life. His guardian is struggling to provide for the children her care. Together we can support Enick create a brighter future for himself. Donate to Enick's education today!
