Together with a caring donor we made sure Grace's school fee was paid for the 2013-2014 academic school year! Now we are fundraising for Grace’s 2014-2015 academic year
Grace is a 13 year old 6th grader. She lives in a rural village in mid-western Ghana where many people survive as peasant farmers. Children living in rural communities are 2 times more likely to not be attending school than students in urban environments.
Grace is a shy student who likes math and wants to be a nurse when she grows up. She likes to sing and read. She admires Kwadwo Nkansah (a Ghanaian actor). Her father is responsible for providing for her and her sibling because her mother died 8 years ago. Her father is not in good health and struggles to earn an income, depending on others for financial support.
Education for an African woman means a greater likelihood of smaller, healthier families. Educated African women are less likely to contract HIV/AIDS. Grace's father's poor health jeopardizes Grace's education and future. Together we can help this father educate his daughter. Donate any amount today!
